The nursing institute's Institutional Admission Committee (IAC) will aim to ensure that the admissions process for all programmes is equal, efficient, and timely. It endeavours to increase the pool of eligible candidates from different origins while also providing rules for adequate accommodation of potential students with disabilities.

The IAC also aims to identify and select the most qualified applicants in the total applicant pool and continually monitor nursing institute admissions policy and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and equity. The IAC works towards making the admission process simple, student friendly, time bound and free from any errors and flaws.

Function of the IAC

• This committee establishes and implements the criteria for admission or enrolment of the students to the institute for all programmes according to the regulations of Bhaikaka University or Admission Committee for B.Sc. Nursing and DGNM (Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar).
• The committee will lays down the detailed procedure to be followed for admission and ensures the same has been implemented / followed.
• The Committee will identify and approves for admission suitable qualified candidates and displays the merit list as per schedule predetermined by the Bhaikaka University or Admission Committee for B.Sc. Nursing and DGNM (Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar).
• Analyse the changes required in the admission policies of the previous years so as to improvise the system and the process if required.
• Visit the Higher Secondary Schools and arrange the Career Guidance Programme for effectiveness and better understanding of the students about nursing programme.
• Arrange the help desk counter for the students and parents during the admission duration.
• Guide and communicate effectively with the students and parents.

Procedure of the IAC

• Institute will publish advertisement in the newspaper & invite applications from the interested candidates for respective quota (including NRI)
• Interested candidates will collect the application form by paying requisite form fee
• Submission of duly filled up Application form along with required documents
• Admission Committee will scrutinize the documents thoroughly as per the norms
• Eligible candidates will be selected based on their merit & final list will be put up on institute notice board as well as on institutional website
• Selected candidates will be given admission.
