Prof. Shailesh Panchal is a qualified child health nurse who garnered his B.Sc. Nursing in 2005, M.Sc. Nursing in 2010, and PhD in nursing education from Bhaikaka University. He had 15 years of academic, clinical, and health research experience, as well as various positions in a transformational career.
Joined Bhaikaka University in January 2011 and is currently serving as head of nursing institute / Principal, with administrative responsibilities beginning in April 2022.
He participates in all institutional activities as a leader, teacher, facilitator, assessor, guide, and mentor for coworkers and students while working as a professor and principal at the Institute of Nursing Sciences.
He was additionally the chairperson of institute and university committees. Furthermore, AdHoC is a member of the regulatory bodies Indian Nursing Council and Gujarat Nursing Council. He has published original research papers in highly regarded health science journals.
Nursing education and kangaroo mother care are two areas of interest.
He received a Gold Medal from SAIMS University for his outstanding academic performance in M.Sc. Nursing.
